UtopiAD is a great company. Today I recieved the CashBar, and it's all that UtopiAD said it would be. It has all the features of alladvantage.com, plus the ability to make money while viewing other windows besides the internet!!! Congratulations to UtopiAD for creating the best Viewbar around!

The one who started it all is AllAdvantage.com. They kicked off the idea of getting paid to surf the web back in March of '99. AllAdvantage.com has no waiting period for their viewbar, and great service. Join today and start getting paid 50 cents for every hour you surf.

GoToWorld has a special place in the "get paid while you surf" community. Not only do you have to see their advertisements, but you have to use their own GoToWorld Browser. I've tried the browser and it has a nice look and is easy to navigate. It is set up similar to Netscape or Internet Explorer, but has an extra toolbar on the right side for special features and an advertisement at the top. The unique look can be a good for those users who are tired of the traditional gray color on their browsers, but it is still a hassel to open this special browser window.

DotAd.com is a very good company. The viewbar, aka Harry, is not yet out. If Harry lives up to all the hype UtopiAD better watch out!!! DotAd.com has great website design where it is easy to find information you need to know. Hopefully thier product will turn out to be as good as the rest of the company.

ePIPO appears to have it together. The "SurfWindow" is in beta testing and will soon be available to all members. ePIPO will pay 60 cents an hour. I recomend this company.

DeskTop Horizon has a great looking website, but they're having problems creating their viewbar called "The Horizon". The Horizon has no release date set, and still has many bugs. DeskTop Horizon will eventually pay 60 cents per hour, but will not send out a check until you have accumulated $30. Definately not the worst, but not the best either. I recommend DeskTop Horizon if you are looking to sign up for many different "get paid to surf the web sites" and you would like a long term company.

Just barely holding on to second place is DesktopDollars.com. DesktopDollars already has the ProfitZone(its viewbar) out, and anyone can download it. So what's the problem? You can't accumulate time yet. DesktopDollars has not yet started paying its members. Look for this to be a great way to make money in the future, but future is still the keyword. Also note that DesktopDollars has a habit of poor business practices and not updating its members about what is going on with the company. This lowers its rating.

AllCommunity.com had all the makings of a good "get paid while you surf company"; unfortunately they are not. First, the good side of AllCommunity: 1. You can get paid for reading ads sent via email, 2. You can get paid to be online using their ISP, 3. You can be paid to surf the web with the traditional viewbar. So what's the bad side? To get paid for reading email you must sign up for yet another login ID and password. In order to get paid to be online you must use their ISP ($19.99 a month), and it's not even avaliable in all locations. The viewbar for this company doesn't appear to be a top priority, so it may be a long time before this option (which fortunately is more realistic then the others) is available. Oh yeah, there is one more problem with this company, you must earn at least $100 before you will be sent a check!!! Avoid AllCommunity.com at all costs, unless you've got a lot of free time. (They get a 1/2 star for creating a webpage. When they get something worthwhile on it, maybe this rating will increase.)
